Core Progressives

Signature offerings that run consistently year-round

Sovereign Apprentice Crew

Sovereign Apprentice is a long-form, non-performing, skill-based training crew rooted in community care, consistency, and intentional learning.

The program supports dancers in building strong foundations through structured exploration of grooving, musicality, textures and dynamics, choreography, and creative movement. Emphasis is placed on process over performance—creating space for dancers to train deeply, build confidence, and grow alongside a committed cohort. While the training is taught at an intermediate level, readiness is determined by commitment and care rather than labels or self-identified level.

Back to Basics: Bootcamp

Back to Basics: Bootcamp is a technique-driven heels progressive rooted in the Back to Basics method, with an emphasis on strength, conditioning, and foundational mechanics. Training explores weight transfers, turning and momentum, three-dimensional movement, and stability and balance through intentionally progressive drills, with each week building on the last. Suitable for all levels, the program supports dancers in developing clarity, control, and confidence in upright heels movement.

Rotating Programs

Short-term offerings that come and go seasonally

  • Using the Back to Basics method, these shorter progressives zoom in on one specific skill or concept at a time. Topics vary throughout the year, offering an opportunity to build deeper understanding and confidence in targeted areas of heels technique.

  • Rooted in the Back to Basics method, this heels tech progressive focuses on floor mechanics, transitions, and movement safety. The program combines floor-specific conditioning and strength work with detailed attention to weight distribution, pathways to and from the floor, and controlled floor-based movement. Suitable for all levels, this program supports dancers in building strength, confidence, and efficiency in floor-based heels technique.

  • A choreography-focused training space centred on creation, retention, and exploration.

The program supports dancers in learning new choreography each week, developing original movement through guided take-home assignments, and expanding performance and execution skills through creative exploration. Designed to challenge both the mind and body, Creative Lab helps dancers build stronger creative and execution vocabulary with intention and confidence.

Open to all styles, choreography is taught at an intermediate level.

  • These intensives are focused on learning choreography, refining performance, and developing confidence on camera. Participants work toward a filmed final product while exploring execution, presence, and storytelling.

  • Focusing on embodiment of rhythm and music, this progressive helps you  find a natural groove in your body by becoming more comfortable with your base understanding of movement. You will learn how to bounce, rock, & wave through various parts of the body, sync your footwork with your groove, and follow the rhythm of any song.

Taught through the lens of grooving as a foundation of Hip Hop, this course is beneficial for anyone trying to find more ease and comfort moving in general.

Drop-In Classes

Flexible training options with no commitment required

Back to Basics:
Focused Fundamentals

Heels technique drop-ins that follow the Back to Basics method, designed to support targeted, intentional skill-building without a long-term commitment. While dance is always integrated and full-bodied, each class places focused attention on specific body parts, functional patterns, or concepts to reveal compensations, imbalances, and areas of support. By isolating elements one at a time, dancers can strengthen weak links and refine awareness - building a more balanced, efficient foundation that carries back into fully integrated movement.

These classes can be taken individually, or stacked together for a well-rounded training experience

Built For Movement:
Dance-informed strength & conditioning

Functional training designed to explore the athletic demands of dance through movement-based conditioning, strength work, stability training, and endurance development.

Expect full-body workouts, music-driven movement, and training built specifically for dancers

Some previous experience with moderately intense exercise or strength & conditioning is recommended
